University of Birmingham

For over 100 years, the University of Birmingham has been pushing back the frontiers of education and pioneering progress in fields as far apart as gene structure, medicine, space research and communications.

The University is currently working together with the partners to bring forward the Incubator building and it is envisaged that the University will play an active role in the development of University Science Park, Pebble Mill.

Advantage West Midlands

Advantage West Midlands is the Regional Development Agency for the West Midlands. The Agency owns part of the land for the University Science Park, Pebble Mill site and is also helping to fund the Incubator building.

Central Technology Belt

Funded by Advantage West Midlands, local authorities and academic institutions, Central Technology Belt works to realise the potential of local knowledge and expertise in the region's Universities, research centres, Science Parks and businesses.

Their objective is to create technology-rich business opportunities and realise long-term economic benefits for people living and working in the region, from the A38 corridor down to Malvern.

Birmingham City Council

Birmingham City Council works in partnership with the citizens of Birmingham, as well as public, private and voluntary organisations, to improve the quality of life for people living and working in Birmingham.
